AM Partners was asked to provide the conceptual design for modern elementary and middle school facilities for dependents of military personnel on Guam, that of which is consistent with the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) education standards.
The work included an 11-day on-site Functional Analysis Concept Design. AMP worked closely with the staff of DoDEA, Anderson Air Force Base, OICC Marianas, and PACNAVFACENGCOM throughout the design process of this 300,000 sq ft. project. We also worked closely with PACNAVEFACENGCOM to develop a comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP). This project garnered a merit award from the 2000 United States Air Force Design Awards Program as well as a Certificate of Appreciation "in recognition of exemplary performance in the fulfillment of Naval Facilities Engineering Command Contract." Along with that award, this project receive the 2000 Award of Excellence from the PACIFIC Air Force Design Awards.
